Blair protesters should look closer to home

WELL done to the protesters in Dublin for their meaningless anti-war demonstration over Tony Blair’s involvement in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What a zero-sum event it was, save for the hefty security bill the taxpayer will have to fork out in paying for the policing arrangements that were required to keep these protesters at bay.

Whatever about the other questionable motives for the war in Iraq, anyone in the west who believes that country would be better off under Saddam Hussein and his ilk is delusional.
