Mexico’s drug war - Frightening violence
In the last three-and-a-half years more than 26,000 people have died across the country. The latest killings involved Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Coronel, believed to be have established Mexico’s methamphetamine trade. He was gunned down trying to escape soldiers in Guadalajara.
Very few countries could cope with violence on this scale but all countries should take notice of what can happen when drug gangs become so very powerful.
