FG ‘battery change’ is just what we need

SO it finally appears some senior Fine Gael members realise the battery in Enda Kenny is on the blink and rather than recharge the robotic leader the better option is to go for a newer, more life-like model.

Everybody should welcome this, save for the members of all other parties, as FG might be just about to remove what heretofore has been one of its major drawbacks in being mandated to form the next government.

The electorate had their say on Enda Kenny in 2007 and we all know what happened then. We haven’t had our say on Brian Cowen yet, but with a potentially more credible alternative emerging that time may be fast approaching.
