Hot answer to icy roads and water shortages
1. Have waste incinerators in Ireland to power generators to power desalination plants.
2. Use the desalination process to separate salt from the seawater.
3. Store the leftover salt for icy days and store the fresh water for times when we are having a shortage like in recent days. This plan would get rid of trash, produce electricity, provide drinking water and have enough salt to get through every winter.
It’s a no-brainer.
