Where were the TDs who missed big vote?

CAN it possibly be true that as NAMA, one of the most corrupt acts ever inflicted on the people of Ireland, was being voted on, only 143 out of 166 members of the Dáil could manage to cast their vote?

There is nothing anywhere else in the entire world that justifies a single TD or senator being absent for such a vote. This is a dark moment for democracy in Ireland ... everything being done to protect members of the golden circle who have beggared the nation while bankrolling Fianna Fáil politicians and those from other parties. It also highlights how pathetic are the politicians we stupidly elected time and time again.

Will we ever learn that those who continually vote for corrupt politicians incur a cost we all pay. So far it’s €54 billion and counting.

The noise of people turning in their graves in Glasnevin must be deafening.
