I READ with interest your back page item (October 24) regarding Air Asia’s response to the newborn’s unexpected inflight arrival. A lifetime of free flights for mum and baby was a magnanimous gesture indeed.

It made me wonder would Ryanair’s reaction be the same or would the proud new mother be requested to pay an additional fare plus taxes, charges and transaction fee before being allowed disembark?
