YOUR report on the Cork Constitution rugby grounds saga (March 13) says planning has been received for new grounds/facilities in Monkstown to be funded by Owen O’Callaghan in exchange for the Temple Hill grounds.

Yet on February 14 last year, you reported the Cork city manager as saying “... you can’t build without planning permission and Cork City Council won’t be granting permission for development on sports grounds”.

Does that mean Cork Con are staying or leaving?
