Horgan shows two codes are similar

AS a lifetime supporter of both hurling and football I would like to congratulate Sean Kelly and the GAA for opening Croke Park to other codes.

Last Saturday was a truly wonderful occasion, as was the first game against France. It is a stunning stadium. Can you imagine if these games had to be played outside of Ireland?

Congratulations to the fans who showed great respect during playing of the English national anthem.

By the way, both codes are not that for apart — ie catch, kick, catch, score!

This was demonstrated by a stunning crossfield kick by Ronan O’Gara to Shane Horgan who took it from the clouds like Mick O’Connell in times past.
