There is concern among some people in Kenmare about how the gardaí have handled the disappearance of Michael Gaine, which is now a murder investigation. For other people, there is anger. 

In particular, questions are being asked about how the gardaí responded to the initial reports of his disappearance and how the subsequent search of farm buildings was conducted.
