Colleges catch the business bug

Entrepreneurship is seeping slowly through the third level system. In addition to dedicated courses on starting new businesses, there are cross-disciplinary initiatives, competitions and industry placements, all designed to give students the confidence and skills to strike out on their own.

Michael Campion, a lecturer in NUI Galway says the first step in the drive to encourage entrepreneurship among business undergraduates is to awaken their creativity.
