Gardaí are hunting for two armed men who beat three people during a violent burglary in their Cork city centre apartment.

Gardaí are hunting for two armed men who beat three people during a violent burglary in their Cork city centre apartment.

The men, who were armed with blunt force instruments, including an iron bar, set upon the occupants in their bedrooms after they entered a flat on Millerd St, a narrow city centre lane off Grenville Place and close to the Mercy University Hospital, at around 6am on Wednesday.
