Green day: 50,000 expected in Cork City for parade

Up to 50,000 people are expected to flood into Cork city centre today as St Patrick’s Day celebrations kick off across the country, in full fanfare for the first time since before the pandemic.

An Garda Síochána have urged anyone attending a parade today to plan their journey in advance and arrive early.
