Two men in serious condition in CUH following separate collisions in Co Kerry 

One of the collisions involved a car and a bus. 

Two men have been seriously injured in Co Kerry following two separate crashes in the county. 

A two-vehicle collision on the N71 at Moll's Gap, on the road between Killarney and Kenmare, occurred at around 4.20pm on Sunday.  It involved a motorbike and a car. 

The motorcyclist, man in his 60s, was taken to Cork University Hospital (CUH) for treatment of serious injuries.

Earlier on Sunday, at around 5am, a collision between a bus and a car left a man in his 20s in serious condition in hospital.

The incident happened on the N70 at Aghatubrid, Caherciveen.

The man in his 20s was the driver of the car. He was also transferred to CUH. The driver of the bus, a man aged in his 50s was uninjured.

The road is currently closed and will be examined by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators later this morning. Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of either collision to come forward and have made a call for anyone who may have camera footage of the crashes, including dashcam or other recording, to make it available.
