A paramedic told the High Court that she had not seen “someone so bruised” in a long time when she examined a woman who claimed she was raped by mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor.

Advanced paramedic Eithne Scully said that Nikita Ní Laimhín, who is claiming civil damages against Mr McGregor, was “very upset and distressed” and was “curled up” when she spoke to her the day after the alleged incident.
