Man jailed for eight years for rape and coercive control of wife

A 48-year-old Portuguese man has been jailed for eight years at the Central Criminal Court for the rape and coercive control of his wife.

Sergio Correia, of Front St, Ardara, Co Donegal, was convicted by a jury of two counts of anal rape and one count of coercive control of Kathleen Correia in 2019.
