Man charged with making threats on social media to 'burn down' Russian embassy

The court heard the threats to the staff were made "in relation to the invasion of Ukraine".

A man has been accused of sending messages on social media threatening that the Russian embassy in Dublin would be "burned down".

Gardaí charged Brian Murphy, 53, of The Heights, Newcastle Manor, Newcastle, Dublin, under the Harassment, Harmful Communications and Related Offences Act.
