Vodafone and Three Ireland admit to sending unlawful marketing messages

Vodafone had seven charges and Three faced two allegations

Three Ireland and Vodafone have pleaded guilty to unlawfully contacting customers with unwanted marketing text messages, calls or emails.

The telecom giants were summoned to appear at Dublin District Court after complaints were received by the Data Protection Commission.
