Man arrested in connection with 200 alleged fraudulent insurance claims

A man has been arrested in Dublin in connection with alleged fraudulent insurance claims.
Gardaí said it is alleged around 200 insurance claims were made using false identities and fake utility bills supported by false medical certificates.
The man, aged in his late 50s, was arrested this morning by officers from the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau.
He is detained at a north Dublin Garda Station where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
Investigations are ongoing.
