Public wake to be held today to honour Glen Hansard

The Oscar-winning Irish musician and activist died in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday morning.

Musician Glen Hansard will be honoured with a public wake in Dublin today. 

The life of The Frames frontman and Commitments actor will be celebrated at the Baroque Chapel of the Irish Museum of Modern Art between 11am and 4pm, where his remains will lie in repose.
