TD Barry Heneghan has returned to Ireland after being detained by Israeli forces whilst attempting to provide aid to the people of Gaza, Tánaiste Simon Harris said.

On Wednesday, it was announced that three flotilla vessels carrying medicine and nutritional supplies were intercepted just off the coast of Gaza.
