Someone hears they have got cancer every three minutes in Ireland, the Irish Cancer Society has warned, as it called for at least €20m in new recurrent funding for the National Cancer Strategy next year.
Sunscreen dispensers should be funded for all public spaces so everyone can access this expensive but vital protection against skin cancer, it also urged.
