Pedestrian dies following collision involving bicycle in Dublin

A female pedestrian has died following a collision with a bicycle in Dublin.
Gardaí say the incident happened on the Ranelagh Rd in Ranelagh at around 11pm on Tuesday, June 4.
The woman aged in her 70s was taken to St Vincent's University Hospital with serious injuries.
She was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital where she was then pronounced dead on Sunday.
The male cyclist was uninjured during the incident.
A technical examination of the scene was carried out.
A garda spokesperson added that enquiries are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
"Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Ranelagh Road in Ranelagh between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Tuesday June 4 are asked to come forward," a garda spokesperson said.
