Teacher's bid for an injunction over relationship with former student dismissed

A teacher's bid for a permanent injunction preventing the Teaching Council of Ireland from notifying the National Vetting Bureau of its concerns over his relationship with a former student has been dismissed by the High Court.

Mr Justice Senan Allen said there was "abundant justification for the concern" raised following an investigation into the teacher's relationship with the male student.
