A teacher has lost his appeal over being refused an injunction preventing a notification to the Garda National Vetting Bureau of concerns over his relationship with a former student.

A teacher's bid for a permanent injunction preventing the Teaching Council of Ireland from notifying the National Vetting Bureau of its concerns over his relationship with a former student has been dismissed by the High Court.
