A senior Garda has been appointed to carry out a review of bail conditions following yesterday's conviction in the Central Criminal Court.

Eoin Berkeley, previously of Hamptonwood Way in Finglas, was sentenced to 14 years in jail for the repeated rape of a young Spanish student in Dublin in 2017.
