Taoiseach Enda Kenny is among a growing number of European leaders now demanding sanctions against Russia for the devastation caused in Syria, writes Elaine Loughlin of the Irish Examiner.

Arriving at the European Council Summit in Brussels this afternoon Mr Kenny agreed that Russia should face sanctions and said the country's bombing of Aleppo would be the subject of "detailed discussion" at today's meeting.
