PSNI investigating apparent hit and run in Derry

Police in Derry are appealing for information after a cyclist was injured in an apparent hit and run.

The 73-year-old man was found on the side of the road yesterday morning at about 10.30am on the Shore Road at Magherafelt.

Medics say his injuries suggest he was struck by a vehicle.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information is asked to contact the PSNI on the non emergency number 101.
