A thunderstorm has caused flash flooding in Cork.

The Watercourse Road in Cork is closed at O'Connell Street due to flooding.

There are reports of flooding throughout the Blackpool area.

The Old Blarney Road by Hollyhill service station is also flooded.

But hold on sun-worshippers, tomorrow looks set to be a great day with temperatures rising to 22C.

The heavy showers are expected to peter out and the evening will be warm and dry.
