Cork man charged with manslaughter after Frenchman's death
A Cork man has been remanded in custody after being charged with the manslaughter of a French man who was homeless, during a special sitting of Cork District Court this morning.
Twenty-two-year-old Daniel O'Sullivan of Carrowkeel in Mallow was charged with unlawfully killing 37-year-old Vincent Morgain on Lower Oliver Plunkett Street in the city on September 10.
Mr Morgain died five days later at Mercy University Hospital.
Today Judge Olann Kelleher refused bail and remanded Mr O'Sullivan in custody to appear in court again on Thursday.
