Dublin Airport bomb note declared a hoax

A note found on an Aer Lingus plane this morning claiming a bomb was on board has been declared a hoax by Gardaí.
Aer Lingus Flight EI631 from Brussels was given priority to land at Dublin Airport this morning after flight crew reported that a note had been found in the toilet claiming a bomb was on board.
The aircraft was taken to a dedicated zone while gardaí interviewed passengers and searched the plane.
Nothing suspicious was found and the incident has been declared a hoax. Aer Lingus has said all passengers have now disembarked.
It is one of three security alerts to have taken place at Dublin Airport overnight.
At about 10pm last night a yellow alert was issued for a bomb threat in one of the terminals.
Separately, there was a partial evacuation of part of Terminal One this morning when a fire alarm went off.
All incidents have now been resolved.
