Taoiseach to meet US House of Representatives Speaker today

The Taoiseach will meet the Speaker of the US House of Representatives John Boehner later today.

Enda Kenny will discuss Ireland's links with America, the Irish economic recovery and immigration reform for undocumented Irish in the US.

Seven other members of US Congress are accompanying Mr Boehner on his visit here, ahead of US Independence Day on Saturday.

During his visit, the Speaker will also hold official meetings with a number of other Government Ministers.

The delegation will also meet representatives of Irish and American companies.
