Ceremonies to mark the 99th anniversary of the Easter Rising have been taking place around the country.

Wreaths have been laid by Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys, and British Ambassador Dominick Chilcott at Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin.
