Adams blasts Government's 1916 celebrations as 'shambolic'
Gerry Adams labelled the Government's events to mark the Centenary of the 1916 Rising as "shambolic", as Sinn Féin prepare to launch their own national programme of commemorative events.
"The Government's launch was shambolic, and that's no accident - because they don't believe in the proclamation," Adams said. "Tens of thousands, scores of thousands, of Irish people do believe in the proclamation."
