The ice bucket challenge is not just benefiting charities - it is also boosting supermarket sales of ice cubes.

Some outlets are reporting that sales have risen by a cool 200%.

According to Retail Intelligence magazine, the online charity drive in aid of motor neuron disease is the cause of the increased ice cube sales.
