A bomb has been made safe in Dublin this evening.

A bomb has been made safe in Dublin this evening.

The Army Bomb Disposal Team were called to a house in the Deerpark area of Tallaght following the discovery of the suspect device.

A cordon and road closures were put in place for public safety, while a number of nearby houses were evacuated for a time.

All component parts of the device are to be handed over to the Gardaí for an investigation.
