Man being questioned about New Year's Eve shooting in Kerry

Gardaí in Kerry are continuing to question a 48-year-old man in connection with a shooting at a New Year's Eve party.

A 31-year-old man was shot in the right side of his body at a house in Kilgobnet at around 1.20am yesterday morning.

He was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
