Tax hearings for multinationals to resume

TDs and Senators will resume hearings on Ireland's tax system for multinational corporations.
The Oireachtas Tax Sub-Committee will discuss Ireland's relationship with firms and the subjects of "base erosion" and "profit-shifting".
Ireland is being investigated by the European Commission, which wants to see documents of deals done with companies like Apple and Google.
Last week, the Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore said Ireland's corporate tax rate is not up for discussion, and he is not worried by the EC's investigation.
