A man and a woman who were being held over the murder of a Lithuanian man have been released without charge.

A man and a woman who were being held over the murder of a Lithuanian man have been released without charge.

The body of 44-year-old Andrius Butkus was found on Mornington Beach in Co Meath on Tuesday.

He had suffered several stab wounds and head injuries.

A woman in her 30s arrested in Drogheda on Thursday was yesterday released without charge.

This evening, a woman in her 60s and man in his 50s have also been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.
