Two women and a man arrested after body dumped on beach
Two women and a man have been arrested over the murder of a Lithuanian man whose body was dumped on a beach.
Gardaí said a woman in her 30s was detained yesterday evening in the Drogheda area and a man in his 50s and a second woman, aged in her 60s, were taken in for questioning this morning.
The body of Audrius Butkus, 44, was found partially clothed by a walker on Mornington beach, Co Meath, on Tuesday.
He had been stabbed in the head several times.
It is understood Mr Buktus moved to Ireland four years ago and had been living in a homeless shelter in the area and was known to gardaí for public order offences and drinking heavily.
