Ask.fm refers cyber bullying policies to law firm

The website ask.fm said it has asked a law firm to review whether it is doing enough to deal with online bullying.

It follows the suicide of a British teenager last Friday, who was apparently targeted on the site.

Last year, 15-year-old Ciara Pugsley from Leitrim and 13-year-old Erin Gallagher from Donegal - also took their own lives in separate incidences after allegations of cyber bullying on ask.fm.

Earlier the company said it could tell police about the details of anonymous users who have been bullying others.
