Man, 39, arrested on suspicion of dissident republican activity

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in Lurgan, Co Armagh, on suspicion of involvement in dissident republican activity.

He was detained by PSNI Serious Crime Branch detectives in the Victoria Street area of the town at around 10.15pm last night.

They are questioning him in connection with ongoing investigations into dissident republican activity.

A number of items were seized at the scene and the man remains in custody at Antrim Serious Crime Suite.
