Talks on exit from bailout to begin in autumn says Noonan

The Minister for Finance said that final talks on Ireland's exit from the bailout programme will not begin until the autumn.

The Troika will finish their second last review of Ireland's performance under the programme tomorrow.

Minister Michael Noonan said that it seems we will get another good report card.

He said there have only been general discussions on an exit strategy so far.

"The briefing I'm getting back from officials is that everything is going well and we are working our way through it," he said.

"There was a general discussion on exit strategies but we won't conclude the conversations about exits until the autumn particularly after the German elections."
