Rathmines street declared safe by bomb squad
A suspicious device found in Rathmines in Dublin today.
The Army Bomb Squad sealed off the scene, but has since declared the area safe.
The team were called to Cowper Road after Gardaí discovered the object.

Gardaí are also investigating an explosion in Coolock overnight.
It is believed the blast was caused by a pipe bomb which detonated outside a house shortly before 11pm on the Ferrycarrig road.
There are no reports of any injuries.
