Property-tax valuation letters to be sent out from next week

The Revenue Commissioners will begin sending out letters to homeowners about the property tax from next week.

The letters will provide a valuation on the property and there will be six payment options.

People who do not respond before the end of June will face stiff penalties.

It remains open to homeowners to provide an alternative valuation is they judge the Revenue's one to be too high.
