Armed raiders hijack cash-in-transit van in Dublin

Gardaí have launched an investigation today following a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin.

Two men, one believed to have been armed with a handgun, approached the CIT staff member and took a cash box at around 12.45pm this afternoon outside a supermarket in Carpenterstown, Dublin 15.
