ESRI report shows increasing patient numbers in acute public hospitals

An ESRI report out today shows that despite cuts to hospital budgets and staff, the number of patients being treated in acute public hospitals is increasing.

There was a rise of almost 2% in the number of discharges from hospitals between 2010 and 2011.
