Man in custody after woman found dead in Naas

A 47-year-old man remains in garda custody this morning, after the body of a woman the same age was found in Co Kildare last weekend.

The discovery was made at a house at Lacken View in Naas on Sunday.

A post mortem was carried out by the State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy but investigating officers say the results are being kept private 'for operational reasons'.
