Survey reveals fall in regular use of contraception
The number of people who regularly use contraception has fallen, according to a new survey from the Health Service Executive's Crisis Pregnancy Programme.
The survey shows that 78% of adults used protection on a consistent basis last year.
That is down from 83% usage in the last similar study in 2003.
The agency's report also found an increase in the number of crisis pregnancies in 2010 - up from the 28% to 36%.
