The HSE has described as "inaccurate and uncorroborated" reports in the Limerick Post newspaper today about the housing of a convicted sex offender in a unit for homeless teenagers of both sexes.

The Limerick Post claims the 18-year-old who was convicted of rape was sent to the emergency care unit on the orders of senior HSE management after his release from St Patrick's detention centre in Dublin just over a month ago.
