Man dies in Kerry farm accident

A man has died following a farm accident in Kerry this afternoon.

It is understood the farmer was repairing a tractor and trailer at 12.30pm in Listry, when he became trapped underneath the vehicle.

The 60-year-ol man, who was married with a family, was taken to Kerry General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The Health and Safety Authority has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation.
